A newer resort area north of the city with broad beaches and large all-inclusive properties. It feels more isolated than the main Hotel Zone. Best for travelers who want a self-contained beach holiday and do not plan to spend much time in the city. The trade-off is distance from Centro and a less flexible dining scene.
